WOW! Year 6 had a week to remember the week before half term! Each day we were visited by a range of wonderful members of the Grove community, talking about their career journeys.
We cannot thank the volunteers enough for giving up their time to inspire the young minds of year 6. This was such a beneficial opportunity for the children to gain a wider perspective on the range of career paths available to them. A HUGE thank you to: Kat, Andrea, Rak, Jack, Richard, Tim, Dianne, Neil, Vicky, Andy, Charlene, Ben, Julia, Mrs Grey and Mrs Wilson.
We have also been incredibly proud of year 6 with how respectful they have been this week. With every visitor, year 6 listened brilliantly and asked insightful questions, showing genuine interest in every career. It was particularly special to see those whose parents visited, seeing their faces light up as their peers learn about their parents’ work...It was the children's turn to be proud!
